June 27th, 2017 by Jennifer Beile Ways to Wear Millennial Pink

Soft, warm pink is the color of the season. Nicknamed “millennial pink” because the millennial generation has made it the color of the moment, this blush-toned, mood-boosting color is actually quite versatile. And it’s popping up everywhere—on runways, street style stars, and your favorite fashion-obsessed celebs.

Millennial or not, you can pull off this shade of pink. For your inspiration, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ways to wear millennial pink this season.

MakeItSporty

Make it Sporty
To keep from looking too young and girly, find pink sporty pieces; think a cropped hoodie, a bomber jacket, or sneakers.

MixandMatchFabricTexture

Mix & Match Fabrics and Textures
When wearing head-to-toe pink, mix and match fabrics and textures to break up the color.

KeepItSimple

Keep it Simple
When in doubt, keep it simple. Small, sophisticated details and embellishments help tone down this feminine color.

SuitUp

Suit Up
Add a playful twist to a classic; the next time you’re on the hunt for a suit set, look for one in a soft pink hue.

ComplimentaryColors

Pair With Contrasting Colors
Make a statement by pairing this soft shade with bold, saturated colors, like bright red or purple.

June 21st, 2017 by Melanie Sutrathada What to Wear for the 4th of July

The Fourth of July is always a great reason to spend time with your loved ones and celebrate your love for good ole ‘Merica. Whether you’re heading to a barbecue or beach bonfire or camping out for fireworks, there’s an outfit for every occasion on Independence Day. Up your July 4th style game with a few outfit ideas from your favorite fashion bloggers. With these six easy outfit ideas, you’ll be looking patriotic in no time:

4th of July
Select a monochrome outfit (in red, white or blue, obviously) that’s perfect for rocking at a barbecue or picnic.

4th of july
Here’s an outfit that will take a few more pieces to pull off. Style nautical stripes with white outerwear and blue and red accents.

P3 - Hapa Time
There’s no better way to make a statement on the 4th of July than with a stars-and-stripes bodycon suit that does all the talking. This ensemble works great for celebrating at the beach, so don’t forget to layer on the sunblock!

P4 - Hello Fashion Blog
If you want a similar casual look for the holiday, try starting with a classic patriotic graphic tee, a pair of jeans and white sneakers. It’s comfy and cute—perfect for a barbecue and fireworks.

P5 - Publicist in Pearls
Red and white stripes are always a go-to pick for celebrating the 4th of July. Steal a page from The Golden Diamonds’s style playbook and pair a crop top with a striped midi skirt. Finish off this look with a star-patterned bag.

P6 - The Golden Diamonds
Is this not the cutest striped jumpsuit for celebrating the holiday? The best part is that this outfit doesn’t have to be worn exclusively for the 4th of July.

Stripes will never go out of style. They work for any style—from preppy to minimalist to eclectic and more—and on every body type. Of course, stripes are a year-round style, but they are definitely having a moment this summer. Street style stars, bloggers, and fashion “It girls” everywhere are loving summer stripes. Take a look at some of my favorite bloggers looks featuring my favorite go-to pattern.

Blair scored the perfect striped summer dress via Reformation. If I could wish a dress into my closet, it would be this one! I love the wide stripes and the low neckline.

Jordan Blackwell, Lil Miss JB Style
Jordan paired a striped trouser with a chambray shirt to create a classic yet effortless summer uniform. Be right back—going to find a pair of striped paper bag trousers now!
